Barbara Tetenbaum has been making extraordinary books by hand under the imprint of Triangular Press since 1979. Her work as an artist is distinct, her imagery personal, and her influence wide. As the head of Book Arts at Oregon College of Art and Craft in Portland, and in workshops and classes around the globe, and as a Fulbright Scholar teaching in the Czech Republic, Tetenbaum has promoted and developed traditional and experimental letterpress printing techniques as well as conventional and innovative book- binding structures to hundreds of students. Her work is beautiful, challenging, moving and dynamic, and is in many internationally prominent collections.
