Manic Street Preachers is a band known for encouraging its fans to think about the cultural and artistic influences in their lives.  Using drawings, writings and physical artifacts from fans, Jeremy Deller has designed a book with the look of a fanzine but suggestive of broader cultural concerns.  The shelf of book spines across the center spread wordlessly encourages viewers to consider the importance of books in their lives.
