Whiffs of Gramary

This 8"x10" broadside is printed letterpress using my collection of wood type in two colors on thick off-white stock. The colors are teal and light blue. This is a limited edition of 48, with each broadside numbered and signed on the back. Each print is hand pulled making it an original and slightly different than the others, due to anomalies in inking.

The title comes from a poem by Christopher Morley, called "Smells". 'Gramarye' means magic. In the poem, Morley enumerates odors that he loves, among them "And printer's ink on leaden type."

Out of Print.
