Clever variation on a flag book. Unfortunately I don’t know where it came from…
Recently I saw an exhibit called PULP: Exploring paper as a sculptural art form, at the Santa Fe Arts Commission’s Community Gallery. Several local book artists were represented, including Margy O’Brien and her lovely accordion book “Mud-puddling.” (mud-puddling is the phenomenon of butterflies seeking out mud to suck up the fluid.) To get an idea of the size of the book, it is 5″ x 36″ when fully opened.
Karen sent me this link to these fun flip books by Scott Blake, which he made using a hole punch…
