Susan Joy Share’s Kinetic Books

Susan Joy Share‘s work combines sewing, painting, crayons, sculpture and bookbinding. Below are 2 of her slink-y books. She also does “needle books.” Of these she says they “contain miscellaneous typed quotes and phrases, images, multi-colored handmade felt, and collected stitch work. The pages of these functional containers for pins and needles are machine sewn to an accordion folded fabric strip to form a codex.” One of those it at the end. Her website is here
