Recently I ran across Austin Kleon’s Newspaper Blackout Poem blog (and book) — that’s an example of his blackout poetry below. He posts horoscopes each month — check out July here. I like especially that the black is a pattern rather than a complete opaque layer, and sometimes he uses colors other than black.
